Over the past 15 years, James Swan &; Co. design projects have crossed the globe as well as the spectrum of design aesthetics. From hotels to fine residential properties, each project is instilled with the clean, effortless elegance that is the common thread in James style. With an eye for detail and a keen sense of the appropriateunique wedding gifts couple, he carefully integrates unique design elements into each project.

He has been featured in House &; Garden Magazine, House Beautiful, and The Los Angeles Times. He wrote for the “Trends &; Shopping” column in House &; Garden Magazine, and in early 2009 re-launched and expanded his own daily design blog. He is in the process of writing a book, 101 Things I Hate About Your House, expected to released in late 2009.

Television appearances on HGTV’s “Homes Across America,” speaking engagements with the professional design industry association NEOCON, regular guest spots on national radio programs consistently place Swan in the media spotlight.

We asked James to design four different rooms for us, all filled with Ballard Designs. We are thrilled to have James creating a fresh new approach to our products. His unique sense of how a room should evolve will inspire our customers to go beyond their comfort zone in creating their own style. James has created some of the world’;s most beautiful spaces.
